The Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune is one of the leading educational institutes in India. The Vidyapeeth conducts the BVPCET to provide admission to the eligible candidates to various courses in engineering in the University. The university is present at multiple locations with its main campus at Pune.


Eligibility

  • The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (H.S.C.) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 from a recognized board or university.
  • The Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.
  • Candidates who have appeared for qualifying examination will also be considered eligible to appear for CET (Engineering). They should have offered the above subjects in the exam. They should produce marksheet of HSC at time of counselling.

Syllabus

The syllabus for BVPCET contains subjects and topics based on the higher secondary exam level.


Pattern

The exam consists of a single question paper which is for 200 marks. The question paper contains questions based on Physics and Maths. 100 marks each are allocated for both the subjects. The question paper contains objective questions with multiple choice questions. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking for the exam. A counseling session is held for candidates after the written exam.
