SRM Engineering Entrance Exam

The SRM University (Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University) is based in Tamil Nadu and was founded in 1985. The university conducts the SRM entrance exam every year for admissions to UG engineering courses.

Eligibility

• Candidates must be Indian Nationals
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam or its equivalent exam from a recognized board/university.
• Candidates must have scored at least 70% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

SRMEEE syllabus consists of the curriculum studied by the candidate at 10+2 level.

Pattern

There will four sections of the exam with objective type questions in each section.

• Section 1 : 35 questions in Mathematics for 105 marks
• Section 2: 35 question in Physics for 105 marks.
• Section 3: 35 question in Chemistry for 105 marks
• Section 4: 35 question in Biology for 105 marks.

An incorrect answer in Physics, Chemistry and Maths will incur negative marking of minus 1 mark. An incorrect answer in Biology will incur negative marking of minus 0.7 marks. Candidates have two options to appear for the examination:

• Paper – Pencil Mode
• Computer Based Mode (Online)
