Annamalai University - All India Medical Entrance Exam

The Annamalai University conducts the AU AIMEE medical entrance test for admission to various medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BPT, BSc(Nursing) and B Pharm under the university. The common medical entrance exam is conducted for all the medical bachelor courses which include MBBS, BDS, BPT, BSc (Nursing) and B Pharm.

Eligibility

The candidate should be 10+2 Pass of Tamil Nadu with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates should have completed the age of 17 years.

Syllabus

The AU AIMEE syllabus will be based in the 12th class syllabus of Tamil Nadu Board. The subjects will be: Biology, Botany, Zoology, Physics & Chemistry.

Pattern

The entrance exam is for three hours consisting of two papers. Each paper has 120 questions in each paper. The distribution of subjects is follows:

Paper I: Biology: 60 questions from botany and 60 questions from Zoology

Paper II: Physical Sciences: 60 questions from Physics and 60 question from Chemistry
