The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association and Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association have formed "Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka" COMEDK.
COMEDK is responsible for conducting the COMEDK UGET for candidates wishing to study Under Graduate Medical, Dental and Engineering courses in the State of Karnataka.
Eligibility

Candidates must have passed 10+2 HSC exam recognized by the Central or State Govt.

Candidates must have studied Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English, and scored at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB.

Candidates should have reached the age of 17 years on 31st Dec of the year of application.
Syllabus
The syllabus for the COMEDK UGET will be the same as that of 10+2 level exam with the subjects Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
Pattern
The test has one question paper with 120 questions – 60 each for physics and chemistry. This paper is mandatory for all the candidates appearing for the entrance test. Candidates have 2 hours to answer this paper
There will be one Mathematics paper for those who wish to study B.E course. The paper will have 60 questions and candidates have 60 minutes to finish the paper.
There will be one Biology paper for those who wish to study MBBS/BDS course. The paper will have 60 questions and candidates have 60 minutes to finish the paper.
There is no negative marking for any of the papers.
