The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is responsible for conducting the FMGE Screening Test. The screening test is meant for those Indian citizens who have foreign medical certifications and wish to get a registration with the Medical Council of India.


Eligibility

  • Candidate should be an Indian citizen/ or an Overseas Indian Citizen.
  • Candidate should be a medical qualification holder certified by the concerned Embassy and a medical practitioner in the country or state in which the institution awarding the qualification is situated.
  • Candidate must have studied for the medical course at the same institute located for the complete duration of the course from where the candidate has obtained the degree.

Pattern

Candidates have to answer a single question paper with 300 objective questions with multiple choice answers. There is no negative marking for the test. Candidates have to score at least 150 marks out of the 300.
