The Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences offers undergraduate, post graduate, & diploma degrees to those who aspire for higher medical studies. Located in Ahmednagar, the institute conducts the PIMS AICET entrance test for admission to the MBBS and BDS UG courses.

Eligibility

• To be able to appear for this entrance examination, the eligibile candidate should have following:
• Cleared the 10+2 examination from a recognized board or university in India
• Must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the PCB group (physics, chemistry, biology) with English as a compulsory subject.

Syllabus

The syllabus for PIMS AICET entrance exam is based on the syllabus of 10+2 syllabus of biology,physics,and chemistry.

Pattern

The PIMS AICET UG entrance comprises of a single question paper with 200 objective questions with multiple choice answers. The candidate has to complete the paper 3 hours. The questions for each subject are divided as follows: Physics (50 marks), Biology 100 marks (50 Botany and 50 Zoology), and Chemistry (50 marks).

There is no negative marking for incorrect answers, and each correct mark is fetches one mark.
