Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam

The Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association. Candidates who pass this test are eligible for admission to Postgraduate programmes (MD and MS) in universities and colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility

• Candidate must be MBBS degree holders from an institute recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Candidate must have completed Internship & should be registered with State Medical Council/Medical Council of India.

Pattern

The entrance exam has a single question paper with 250 objective questions with multiple choice answers. The paper is for 250 marks in total and each incorrect answer gets a negative marking of -1/4 marks.
