Tax Assistant Exam

The staff selection commission conducts the examinations for the post of tax assistants. This examination is conducted for the students to recruit them in various posts. The students are required to fill the application forms that are given online in the SSC’s website.

Eligibility

• The students need to have their bachelor’s degree from the recognized university or recognized institute.
• The students can do graduation from any streams and from any recognized university.
• The students who are giving their final year examination, can also apply for the same .
• The students who have appeared for the chartered accountant examination or Computer secretary (CS) examination.

Syllabus

• The syllabus consists of General English and General awareness subjects.
• The syllabus prescribed is for the written examination.
• The age criteria should be in between 18-26 years.
• The papers consists of written examination and interview test.
• The total written examination is for 400 marks.

Pattern

• The students need to appear for the entrance test at their respective examination centres.
• There are subjects such as general awareness, mathematics and English language.
• The written examination consists of written test with the specified subjects.
• The students are then called for the personality test round for 200 marks.
• The qualified students will be called for the interview followed by the personality test.

How to Apply

• The students who meet the above criteria can fill the application forms that are given at the university’s website ssc.nic.in
• The students should send the application forms with the attested certificate copies of their documents on the address prescribed in the application forms.
