Well-Qualified and eligible candidates are invited for  various posts of Professors and Associate Professors. The recruitment is to be done for the following disciplines:

• Radio Diagnosis
• Biochemistry
• Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Dermatology
• ENT
• Eye
• Microbiology
• Pul. Medicine
• Surgery
• Haematology
• Anaesthesia
• Orthopaedics
• Pediatrics

The appointment is to be done for various PGIMSR, located at following cities:

• ESI PGIMSR, New Delhi
• ESI PGIMSR, Chennai
• ESI PGIMSR, Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore
• ESI PGIMSRs, Kolkata
• ESI PGIMSRs, Mumbai

Note:

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of personal interview. Only selected candidates will be called for the interview by the Selection Board.

Eligibility Conditions

For Professors

• Medical Candidates
  • Should have a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  • MD / MS degree in the relevant discipline from a University / Institute
  • Minimum 14 years of teaching / research experience, out of which 4 years should be on the post of Reader / Associate Professor in a recognized Medical College or 3 years on the post of Associate Professor in the concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with 4 research publication indexed / national journals
• Non-Medical Candidates
  • Master’s Degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  • Doctorate degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  • Should have qualified minimum teachers qualification mentioned in the Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998
  • Minimum 14 years of teaching / research experience, out of which 4 years should be on the post of Reader / Associate Professor in a recognized Medical College or 3 years on the post of Associate Professor in the concerned speciality in a recognized medical college with 4 research publication indexed / national journals
• Super Specialty Disciplines
  • Should have a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  • M Ch degree for Surgical Super Specialties and DM degree for Medical Super Specialties from a recognized University / Institute
  • Minimum 12 years of Teaching / Research experience in the relevant discipline recognized Institutions, out of which 4 years should be on the post of Reader / Associate Professor in a recognized Medical College or 3 years on the post of Associate Professor in the concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with 4 research publication indexed / national journals

For Associate Professors

• Medical Candidates
  • Should have a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  • MD / MS degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  • Minimum 6 years of teaching / research experience, out of which 5 years should be on the post of Lecturer / Assistant Professor in a recognized Medical College or 4 years on the post of Assistant Professor in the concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with 2 research publication indexed / national journals
• Non-Medical Candidates
  • Master’s Degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  • Doctorate degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  • Should have qualified minimum teachers qualification mentioned in the Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998
  • Minimum 6 years of teaching / research experience, out of which 5 years should be on the post of Lecturer / Assistant Professor in a recognized Medical College or 4 years on the post of Assistant Professor in the concerned specialty in a recognized medical college with 2 research publication indexed / national journals
• Super Specialty Disciplines
  • Should have a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  • M Ch degree for Surgical Super Specialties and DM degree for Medical Super Specialties from a recognized University / Institute
  • Minimum 4 years of Teaching / Research experience in the relevant discipline recognized Institutions, out of which 2 years should be on the post of Lecturer / Assistant Professor in a recognized Medical College or 2 years on the post of Assistant Professor in the concerned speciality in a recognized medical college with 2 research publication indexed / national journals

Required Age

• Candidates should be below the age of 50 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates as per government norms).

Application Fee: Rs 225 (Exempted for SC / ST / PWD / Women / EXS / Departmental candidates)

• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain the DD for Rs 225, drawn in the favor of ESI Fund Account No I, payable at New Delhi.
• Application form duly complete in all respect, along with an attested (by Gazetted Officer) passport-size photograph, DD, and attested (by Gazetted Officer) photocopies of all certificates, should be submitted to The Joint Director (Recruitment), ESI Corporation, Panchdeep Bhawan, C.I.G. Marg, New Delhi - 110002, by speed post / registered post, before December 12, 2011.
• Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of ___________ for ESI PGIMSR ______________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
• Candidates, belonging to far-flung areas, can send their application forms on or before December 19, 2011.
• Candidates should apply with separate application form for each post.
