The results for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) 2017 grade-II/executive tier 1 exam will be declared soon by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

All those candidates who have taken these exams can visit the official website i.e mha.nic.in and follow the instructions given there to check their result once these are released.

The examination was held on October 15.

The exam was conducted for recruiting assistant central intelligence officers, which is a Grade - II, Group - C (non-gazetted, non-ministerial), executive post with the intelligence bureau.

Pay scale

The selected candidates will be offered a monthly salary of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800, along with a grade pay of Rs 4,200.

Examination Pattern:

• On the basis of There will be negative marking of one-fourth mark for each wrong answer in Tier-I
• No marks would be awarded for an unattempted question
• Only those candidates would be called for Tier-II exam who come up to a certain standard in Tier- I. For Tier-II examination, there will be a minimum cut off marks of 33 per cent their combined performance in Tier-I and Tier-II, the candidates would be short listed for the interview
