IBPS PO main exam 2017 result is expected soon. This year the exam pattern was new to everyone. Conventional pattern questions were hardly seen in the IBPS PO Mains examination and the new introduction of Online Descriptive Test made it more challenging for the students to deal with the examination with poise.

English was the section that showed the extreme changes in the pattern of examination followed by Reasoning, Data Analysis and Interpretation and General/Economic/Financial Awareness.

• In English Section, there were new pattern questions of Errors, Double Fillers, and Cloze test.
• In Reasoning Section, all the questions, apart from the ones on Data Sufficiency, followed a new and convoluted pattern that took the students to invest more time than usual in this Section. New pattern Case let and inclusion of Geometry in Data Sufficiency made Data Analysis and Interpretation Section more difficult and complicated than ever before.

The expected overall cut off of IBPS PO Mains 2017 Examination is supposed to be around 62 to 68.

Section-wise cut off then the expected cut-off is as follows:

• English Language: 6-8
• Reasoning and Computer Aptitude: 6-8
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: 8-10
• General/Economic/Financial Awareness: 10-14
• Overall: 63-68
