Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admissions into Undergraduate Dual Degree Admission Program for the academic year 2018-19 through UGEE 2018 (UG Entrance Exam) 

Programs Offered 

• Undergraduate Admissions – UGEE 2018 – Lateral entry to Dual Degree Programs-
• B Tech CSE and Master of Science in CSE by Research(CSD)
• B Tech in ECE and Master of Science in  ECE by Research (ECD)
• 5 Year Dual Degree (after 12th Standard) leading to B Tech in CS and Master of Science in Computation Linguistics by Research (CLD)
• 5 Year Dual Degree Program for NTSE and KVPY students leading to  B Tech in CS and Master of Science in CNS by Research(CND)

Important Dates

• Application Portal for Lateral Entry Mode Opens: 5^th Feb, 2018

• Time of Exam: 10.00 AM – 01.00 PM (Computer Based) 

Eligibility Conditions

• CSD: Applicants completing their II year of B.E. / B.Tech. in CSE / IT by July 2018
• ECD: Applicants completing their II year of B.E. / B.Tech. in ECE / ETE / EIE / EEE by July 2018
• CLD Program:
  • Stream I: Higher Secondary / Class 12 or equivalent in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics. A keen interest in prior work in languages and aptitude for Conceptual Analysis and Mathematics is essential
  • Stream II: Higher Secondary / Class 12 or equivalent in Humanities, Art and Social Sciences with Mathematics; a keen interest in prior work in languages and aptitude for Conceptual Analysis and Mathematics is essential
• CND Program (for NTSE or KVPY Scholars only)
  • Students who have qualified in National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) – Level 2 or Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) with Higher Secondary / Class 12 or equivalent in Science stream students 

Selection Process 

• Admissions will be based on performance in an entrance examination (full computer based) and an interview, both conducted by IIIT-H
• The exam is to be held on 18^th Apr, 2018 (Wednesday) across multiple cities
• Shortlisted candidates from this exam will have to clear an interview to get admitted 

Application Procedure

• Candidates can apply online https://www.iiit.ac.in/ 

• All applications should be submitted through online in UGEE portal. To submit the application, a candidate has to complete two registration forms: Pre-Registration Form and Main Registration Form
• Filling of Pre-Registration Form. Online payment is recommended. After filling the Pre-Registration form, the candidate receives an E-mail which contains the link and identification code. The link should be opened in a browser by supplying the identification code to fill in the Main Registration Form

Application Fee 

• Application Fee: INR 2,000 (Non-refundable)
• Tuition Fee:  Rs.2,60,000/- per year
