Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

For PhD in Engineering:
Those interested in applying should be holding a Master's degree in engineering/technology/medical sciences/veterinary sciences/pharmacy in a relevant area with a minimum cumulative performance index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60 per cent of marks.

For PhD in Design:
 Those interested in applying should be holding MArch/MDes degree or MTech/ME degree in a relevant area, with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60 o per cent marks.

For PhD in Science:
Those interested in applying should be holding a Master's degree in engineering/technology/design in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60 per cent of marks.

For PhD in Humanities and Social Sciences:
Those interested in applying should be holding a Master's degree in arts/commerce/science in a relevant area with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent marks.

Selection procedure:

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in GATE/ NET/ CEED/ INSPIRE, grades/marks in the qualifying examination, etc. They will then have to appear for a written test and/or interview/portfolio review, if required.
