Applications are invited from qualified, knowledgeable and skilful candidates for various Teaching Posts for the following positions:

• Professor (Hindi / Economics / Botany / Physics / Sociology)
• Associate Professor (Geography / Statistics / Physics / History & Archaeology / English / Chemistry (Inorganic) / Economics / Political Science / Psychology)
• Assistant Professor (Postgraduate) (Statistics / Zoology / Anthropology / Botany / Computer Science / Kannada / Library Science / Mathematics)
• Assistant Professor (Undergraduate) (Statistics / Zoology / Kannada / Physics / Law / Music) 

Note

• Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of their performance in academics, work experience and interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the interview. The schedule of interview and centre address will be intimated to all short-listed candidates, by the screening committee. • Candidates can obtain the application form personally from the Office of the Director, Prasaranga, Karnatak University, Dharwad - 580003, in reverse presentation of Bank Challan for Rs 200, obtain from any branch of State Bank of India / Syndicate Bank, in favor of Karnatak University Campus, Dharwad.
  
  
• Candidates can also obtain the application form by post, by sending a self-addressed envelope (28 x 12 cm) with affixed stamps of Rs.50, along with a DD for Rs.200, to the Director, Prasaranga, Karnatak University, Dharwad - 580003.
  
  
• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs.400 / Rs.200, drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, Karnatak University, Dharwad, payable at Karnatak University Campus, Dharwad.
  
  
• Eight sets of Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with recent passport size photograph, DD for Rs.400 & Rs.200 (with downloaded form only), Academic Performance Index (API) Form & attested copies of all relevant certificates / documents, should be submitted to:

• Candidates should mention Name of the Post _____ & Subject ______ on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
  
  
• Candidates applying for various posts should apply with separate application form and fees for each post.
