Applications are invited from eligible, talented and capable Indian candidates for the post of Assistant Librarian, in Supreme Court Library.

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Computer Test and Interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the computer test. Only computer test qualified candidates will be called for the interview.

Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognized University
  
  
• Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University / Institute
  
  
• Should have good knowledge of Computer Operation in Library work i.e., knowledge & experience of working with any standard Library Automation Software for House Keeping activities in the library such as Cataloguing, Acquisition and Circulation, and have knowledge & experience of Computerized Search both of online and offline databases including retrieval of desired information through various search engines / processes
  
  
• Minimum two years of work experience in a Library of any Government Organization or recognized Educational / Research Institution

Age Limit

• Candidates should be below the age of 27 years.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PH / EXS candidates provided as per government norms
