Hidayatullah National Law University is a public university for higher education and learning and is located in New Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. It was established in the year 2003 by the Government of Chhattisgarh under the Act of 10 of 2003. The campus occupies the land of 65 acres and has been constructed at village Uperwara, around 22 km from the city. The academic departments have facilities like library, air-conditioned reading hall, computer lab and the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms are also air-conditioned and it has conference hall and amphitheater as well. The university also has residential department for students, faculty and staff. The hostel is divided in two section, boys and girls, which includes facilities like common room for tv, activities room, table tennis, badminton court, canteen and fast food section as well. The academic departments of the university has courses like The School of Juridical & Social Sciences (SJSS), The School of Constitutional & Administrative Governance (SCAG), The School of International Legal Studies (SILS), The School of Science, Technology & Sustainable Development (SSTSD), The School of Business & Global Trade Laws Development (SBGTLD), The School of Administration of Justice and Continuing & Clinical Legal Education (SAJCCLE). The university also has Student Bar Association, which includes 14 committees like Moot Court Society, Academic Support Committee, Finance Committee, Legal Service Society, Literary and Debate Society, Library Committee, I.T. Committee, Public Relations Committee, Disciplinary Committee, Mess Committee, Halls of Residence Committee and Cultural Committees.
