The Bharath University in Chennai conducts the BEEE entrance exam to give admission to the eligible candidates to various courses and degrees in engineering offered by the University. Bharath University is a deemed university. Admission to various undergraduate courses is done through BEEE entrance exam, which is conducted during April/May of every year.


Eligibility

BEEE Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates must have completed their 10+2 from a recognized Board in the country.
  • The candidate should have secured an aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
  • The candidates who wish to apply for the lateral entry must hold either a diploma or B.Sc in any science subject.
  • The candidates applying for B.Arch must pass the NATA test with good scores.
  • The candidates who appear for the entrance exam must be above the age of 17 years at the time of admission.

Syllabus

The questions in the entrance test are generally asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 10+2 level. There are also questions based on general knowledge topics.

Pattern

The test comprises of a single question paper. The question paper is divided in four parts and 25 marks are allocated to each section. The sections are Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and General Knowledge or aptitude. The question paper contains objective questions with multiple choice answers. There are total 100 marks for the paper and the duration for the test is three hours.
