Delhi CEE (Combined Entrance Examination) is a reputed entrance exam for engineering students aspiring for engineering degrees. The exam is conducted by the University of Delhi for the admission of Under Graduate Bachelor of Engineering programmes for Delhi Region candidates at Delhi Technological University & Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT).


Eligibility

  • Candidate be minimum 17 years of age on or before the first of October of the year in which he/she wants admission.
  • Candidate should be 10+2 pass from a recognized School/college/Institution located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi with minimum 60% marks aggregate in PCM.
  • Indian as well as foreign students passing from Schools / Colleges / Institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi are also eligible for Delhi CEE.
  • A candidate passing 10+ 2 examinations from the recognized School/ College/ Institute located outside of the National Capital Territory of Delhi only and securing 60 percent or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • A candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study either at the 10th Class level or 12th Class level (core or elective).

Syllabus

The Syllabus for the DCEE is based on the CBSE standard syllabus of the Higher Secondary lessons.


Pattern

The Delhi CEE papers have objective questions with multiple choice answers. The duration of the test is 3 hours and there are total of 180 questions. Each correct answer carries 4 marks, and each incorrect answer 1 mark is deducted. The breakdown of the marks is as follows:

  • Physics – 60 Questions
  • Chemistry – 60 Questions
  • Mathematics – 60 Questions
