Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor’s Degree Courses B.A. (Hons.) Foreign Language Program for the academic year 2018-19 

Important Dates

• Last Date for Receipt of Application Form: 08^th Mar, 2018
• The Admission Test will be held at Aligarh only: 16^th Apr, 2018 

Programmes Offered: Duration of the Program: 3 years (6 semesters)

• BA (Hons) in Chinese
• BA (Hons) in French
• BA (Hons) in German
• BA (Hons) in Russian
• BA (Hons) in Spanish 

Eligibility Conditions

• Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Selection Procedure 

• Through Admission Test. 

Test Paper Details 

There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks with the following components:

• English Composition, Grammar, Comprehension etc.: 60 Marks
• General Awareness and Current Affairs: 20 Marks
• Indo-Islamic Culture and Aligarh Movement: 10 Marks
• Reasoning and Intelligence: 10 Marks 

Application

• Application form can be downloaded from the University Website www.amu.ac.in
• Candidates are required to deposit the Admission TestFee of Rs.400/- through Bank Draft to be issued from a National Bank Payable in favor of Finance Officer, AMU or through Challan Form in the Canara Bank AMU Branch, Aligarh.
• Duly filled in application form along with the admission test fee is to be submitted to Admission Section, Office of the Controller of Examinations, AMU, Aligarh-202002
• Candidates may download the admit card from the website www.amu.ac.in
