Syndicate Bank, a Premier Nationalized Bank, invites ONLINE applications from Indian citizens for recruitment of 1000 Probationary Clerks.

Date of Written Test 27th June, 2010
Note: - A candidate can apply for vacancies in one State/Union territory only and has to appear for the examination from a centre of that particular State/Union Territory only.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Eligibility
Minimum Educational Qualification (As on 01.03.2010)
For SC/ST/PC/EXS Candidates
Minimum 12th standard (10+2) pass or equivalent qualification with a minimum of aggregate 55% marks OR
A degree from a recognized university (graduation level) OR
Matriculate Ex-servicemen candidates, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or the Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post.
For OBC /General Candidates
Minimum 12th standard (10+2) pass or equivalent qualification with a minimum of aggregate 60% marks OR
A degree from a recognized university (graduation level) OR
Matriculate Ex-servicemen candidates, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or the Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post.
Note: The candidates should have studied as regular students.
In addition to the qualification, the Candidates should have working knowledge in Computers.
The above educational qualification prescribed for various categories are the minimum candidates possess as on 01.03.2010 (inclusive).
Age Limit (As On 01.03.2010) Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years.
Examination fee:-
(a) For SC/ST/PC - Rs.50/- *
(b) For all others (including OBC) - Rs.200/-
to be paid at any of the branches of SYNDICATE BANK only, by means of a Payment Challan as per the format given in Bank website.
