Note

  • Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of written test / trade test / technical test, and personal interview.

Eligibility Conditions 

For Deputy Registrar

  • Master’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale, from a recognized University / Institute
  • Minimum 9 years of working experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of 6000 Or
  • Comparable experience in the field of Research Establishment or in the Higher Education Institutes  Or  Minimum 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or its equivalent post in a reputed University / Institute
  • Good working knowledge of Computer Application.

For Assistant Registrar

  • Master’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade B in the UGC 7 point scale, with good academic record from a recognized University / Institute.

For Private Secretary

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  • Should have proficiency in English language
  • Good working knowledge of Computer Application
  • Should have Typing speed of 40 WPM in English and have Stenography speed of 120 WPM in English
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience as Personnel Assistant in Central / State Universities or similar other institutions / Government Department
  • Good knowledge of Hindi Typing is desirable.

For Assistant

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience as UDC / Office Assistant in Central / State Universities / institute
  • Good working knowledge of Computer Applications.

For Personal Assistant

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  • Should have proficiency in English language
  • Good working knowledge of Computer Application
  • Should have Typing speed of 40 WPM in English and have Stenography speed of 100 WPM in English
  • Minimum 5 year of working experience as a Stenographer in Central / State Universities / Institute.

For Hindi Translator

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English / Hindi from a recognized University with Hindi / English as a medium of exam
  • Diploma / Certificates of Translation from English to Hindi or vice versa, from a recognized Institute
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the relevant field.

For Junior Engineer (Civil)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 3 years of working experience in Supervision of Erections/ Maintenance of Civil Works Or
  • Three year of Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with minimum five years of working experience in Supervision of Erection / Maintenance of Civil Works
  • Good working knowledge of Computer Applications.

For Upper Division Clerk

  • Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
  • Good working knowledge of Computer Application
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience as Junior / Office Assistant in Central / State Universities or similar institute / Govt. Department.

For Laboratory Assistant

  • Passed in 10+2 in Science stream from a recognized Board
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a Lab of an educational Institutions.

For Caretaker

  • Passed 10+2 from a recognized Board
  • Should have working experience in Maintenance, including Sanitation, Upkeep and Security.

Application Fee

  • Rs 500/- General & Other candidates
  • Rs 125: SC / ST / PH candidates

  • For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain the DD for Rs 500 / Rs 125, drawn in the favor of Finance Officer, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, payable at Dharamshala, District Kangra (Himachal Pradesh) - 176215.
  • Application form duly complete in all respect, along with the DD and attested copies of all certificates, should be submitted to the Registrar, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Post Box No. 21, Dharamshala, District Kangra (Himachal Pradesh) - 176215, by ordinary post on or before March 15, 2012.
  • Candidates should mention “Name of the Post Applied for________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
  • Candidates should apply with separate application form & fees amount for each post.
