Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the year 2014 is scheduled to be conducted on 16 February 2014.

The CTET is an exam conducted by CBSE every year to determine the eligibility of Indian citizen for appointment as a school teacher for classes I to VIII.  However, qualifying in the CTET is just one of the eligibility criteria to get recruited as a school teacher, interested candidates must keep this mind.

The details of the application process for CTET 2014 is yet to be announced by CBSE.

CTET 2013 was held on 28 July 2013, and the results of which were declared on 03 September 2013. As per the record, out of more than 9 lakh registered candidates, only 11% had managed to qualify the CTET 2013.
