Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 2 years distance Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program for the session 2016-17.

Eligibility Conditions

Undergone the degree in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern of examinations in the following discipline from a recognised university: B.A/ B.Lit./B.Sc in Tamil/ History/ Geography/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Applied Physics/ Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Bio Chemistry/ Botony/ Zoology/ Micro-Biology/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/ Dietetics/ Applied Geography/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology.
In case of Economics/Commerce/Home Science the candidate must possess a post graduate degree from the recognised university.
Candidates must possess a teaching diploma from the NCTE recognized Teacher Education Institution through face to face mode alone are eligible.

Application form can be obtained in person from the Office of Admissions, SASTRA campus on payment of Rs.600/- or by post on payment of Rs.650/- by DD favouring SASTRA University, payable at Thanjavur.
