HPPSC declared the result of Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service (preliminary) examination. The commission declared 148 candidates successful and they will appear in the mains examination to be conducted from October 22 to 26.

The commission earlier conducted the examination on September 4 at nine centres at Shimla and Dharmashala for the recruitment of seven posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division).

Chairman HPPSC, K S Tomar said prior to this year the recruitment to Civil Judge was conducted once in a year but is now being conducted twice a year.

Among 3,631 candidates that had applied online for the examination, 2,528 candidates were admitted provisionally. Out of which 1,374 candidates appeared in the preliminary examination.
