Applications are invited from  eligible candidates  for the position of married / un – married male and un – married female candidates for grant of short service commission in the Indian army for 14 judge advocate General department in JAC Entry Scheme 16th Course APR 2016 from law graduates. Age Limit

  • The age of the candidate should not less than 21 years and should not more than 27 years. The age of the candidate should be as on 1st Jul, 2016. (Candidate should born not earlier than 2nd Jul, 1989 and not born later than 1st Jul, 1995). 

Qualification

  • Candidates should have possess minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB degree / three year professional course after graduation or five year course after +2 class examination. The candidates should be eligible for registration with Bar council of India / state. Candidate should be from a college / university recognized by the Bar council of India. 

Selection Procedure

  • The selection will be based on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received. 

Age Relaxation

The upper age of the candidates applying for the position of JAC Entry Scheme 16th Course APR 2016 in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

  • By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
  • By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
  • By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
