Indian Maritime University announces admission to the following courses in IMU Campuses and affiliated institutions:

Category a
Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc. Nautical Science

Category b
B.Sc. Ship Building and Repair
B.Tech. (Marine Engineering)

Eligibility

The candidate must be 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University. Candidates appeared and awaiting results can apply. For details about eligibility criteria pertaining to particular course, candidates are advised to refer the information brochure at www.imu.tn.nic.in.

How To Apply

IMU-CET Application Form will be made available through the following channels:

1. Downloading the application form, information brochure and challan through www.imu.tn.nic.in and paying the relevant fee through challan to any of SBI/Indian Bank branches throughout India.
2. Through select branches of Indian Bank by paying Rs.800/- (Rs.450/- for SC/ST candidates). For details of branches, visit www.imu.tn.nic.in.
3. By sending demand draft of Rs.800/- (Rs.450/- for SC/ST candidates) in favor of “Indian Maritime University” payable at “Chennai” to “Controller of Examinations” at above address.
4. Direct visit to any of IMU campuses at Chennai, Cochin, Mumbai, Kolkata and Vizag and submitting a demand draft of Rs.800/- (Rs.450/- for SC/ST candidates) in favor of “Indian Maritime University” payable at “Chennai”.

Candidates applying for more than one category have to submit separate application. Filled in application in all respect must be sent to “Controller of Examinations, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai – 600 119” by super scribing the envelope with “Application for IMU-CET June 2011 for DNS leading to B.Sc. Nautical Science or B.Tech. (Maritime Engineering)/B.Sc. Ship Building and Repair”
