Applications are invited from knowledgeable, experienced and proficient professionals for recruitment 2012, for the following positions:

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the academics, work experience and personal interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the interview.

Eligibility Conditions

For Librarian

Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentations with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC prescribed seven point scale, with consistently good academic record from a recognized University / Institute
Or
Should be an Deputy Librarian with minimum three years of service in the AGP of Rs 9000
M.Phil / Ph.D Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript-Keeping from a recognized University is desirable.
Minimum 13 years of work experience as Deputy Librarian in University Library or minimum 18 years of work experience as a College Librarian
Should have evidence of Innovative Library Service, and organization of published work

For Deputy Librarian

Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentations with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC prescribed seven point scale, with consistently good academic record record from a recognized University / Institute
Or
Should be an Assistant Librarian (Sr. Scale) / College Librarian (Sr. Scale) with 5 years of service in Pay Band of Rs.15600 - 39100, with academic Grade Pay of Rs.8000
M.Phil / Ph.D Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript-Keeping / Computerization of Library from a recognized University
Minimum 5 years of work experience as Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian
Should have evidence of innovative Library service, published high-quality work, and knowledge of Computerization of Library
Should be an Individual, holding analogous post on regular basis in any recognized University / Autonomous bodies / Central / State Government Undertaking

For Law Officer

Master’s Degree in Law with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale from a recognized University / Institute
Or
Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale with Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University / Institute
Minimum 5 years of work experience in Legal Works including Defending Court Cases
Should be well conversant with Legal Procedures, preferably of Academic Institutions
