Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into 3 year distance Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Power Generation Engineering offered at the Centre for Distance and Open Learning, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE)

• Candidates should have at least 45% marks in Secondary School Certificate Class (X) from a recognized board.
                        Or
  Candidates should have completed secondary school certificate (Class X) with Science and Maths. with 2 years certificate program of Electrical Technician from a recognized Board. 

Diploma in Power Generation Engineering (DPGE)

• Candidates should have completed secondary school certificate Class (X) and I.T.I. or equivalent certificate course from an institute recognized by state / central government and Candidates should have minimum 2 years working experience in the relevant field. 

How to Apply

• Candidates may obtain the prescribed application form along with the prospectus from the study/program centre or from the Maktaba Jamia Ltd., Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi on cash payment (Inclusive of Entrance Test fee).
  
  
• Candidates can also download the application forms from the website http://jmi.ac.in.
  
  
• Only original downloaded forms should be submitted along with the prescribed fee in the form of demand draft/pay order in favour of ‘Jamia Millia Islamia’, payable at ‘New Delhi’.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be made on the basis of merit obtained in the Entrance Test.

• Last date for submission of application form: 19^th Aug, 2013 (Monday)
• Date of entrance test: 31^st Aug, 2013 (Saturday)
