Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full-time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered in various disciplines for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates passed M.Sc/M. Phil degree/PG degree in any branch of Life Sciences from recognized University with a minimum of 55% or equivalent grade are eligible to apply.
                     Or
  Candidates having MBBS or DM/M.Ch/MD/DNB or equivalent degree from recognized University with a minimum of 55% or equivalent grade can apply for this program.
                     Or
  Candidate qualified in any of the three National Entrance Tests (NET) for Ph.D - JRF under DBT/DST/ICMR/UGC can apply. 

How to Apply

• Candidates are required to submit one form only.
  
  
• Candidates can submit the application through on-line process only.
  
  
• Online application user interface provided in the annexure.

The mode of payment

• State Bank of India I-Collect
• Demand draft drawn in the favors of the accounts officer, JIPMER, Pondicherry.
  
  
• Candidate opting for demand draft payment should send hard copy of the application, along with demand draft, to the registrar (academic), JIPMER on or before last date.
• Fees paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. 

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance test conducted by the institute. 

Important Dates

• Last date for online registration of application form: 11^th Jun, 2013 (Thursday)
• Date for entrance test: 28^th Jul, 2013 (Sunday)
