Note:

• Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the written test. All details regarding the scheduled of written examination, centre, venue & time will be published later on the official website. The written will be held at Bangalore. 
• Candidates can register online by visiting the official link of KPCL: http://www.karnatakapower.com/recruit.asp. The last date for online registration is October 10, 2011. Interested candidates willing to apply have to follow the prescribed format mentioned in the advertisement, published in the aforementioned website. Eligibility Condititons:

• Assistant Engineer (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)
  • Degree of BE in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or degree of AMIE in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical engineering from a recognized University / Institute
  • Should have Kannada language as one of the main subject at SSLC level
• Junior Engineer (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)
  • Three years of Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University & Institute
  • Should have Kannada language as one of the main subject at SSLC level

Required Age

• Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 35 years (Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per government norms)

How To Apply:

• Candidates, who fill the eligibility criteria and willing to apply, can fill online application form by visiting the official link of KPCL: http://www.karnatakapower.com/recruit.asp.
• Candidates should pay the application fee through Challan in any branch of State Bank of India or through NEFT mode in any other bank
• Candidates making payment in SBI branch through Challan should mention the details as such: Account Name: Karnataka Power Corporation Limited, Current Account No: 00000031480010180 at State Bank of India, IFB, Residency Road, Bangalore, on it
• Candidates, making payment in any other bank should make payment in the Account Name: Karnataka Power Corporation Limited, Current Account No: 00000031480010180 with State Bank of India, IFB, Residency Road, Bangalore, through NEFT No: SBIN0009077, to the beneficiary - Karnataka Power Corporation Limited
• After making payment of the application fee amount candidates should collect candidate’s Challan copy with all the mentioned details such as paid amount, Challan No, Challan date, UTR No. or if payment is made through NEFT mode, candidates should collect the information such as Bank Name, Branch Name and the place of the Bank, as its required for completion of online application form
• After submitting the application form the system will generate an Acknowledgement Slip with Unique Acknowledgement No, which candidates should take 2 print out, as it will be required at the time of written examination
• Acknowledgement Slip with candidate’s recent passport size photograph and signature should be submitted at the time of written examination
• If candidates did not bring Acknowledgement Slip along with them at the time of written examination, they will not be allowed to appear for the exam
