Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of 813 commando / constable, mechanics, signal / communication operator, driver, Armour, Bulger vacancies in armed branch for the special forces – 10 (SF-10). Apply before 30^th Apr, 2016.

Commando / Constable (Male): 625 posts

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 21 years.
Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10th class standard examination board / matriculation class standard examination board.
Pay Scale; Rs 8300 – 16270/- Pere Month

Mechanics: 05 posts

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 21 years.
Qualification: Candidates should have passed 9th class standard examination board with valid HLV / LMV driving license.
Pay Scale; Rs 8300 – 16270/- Pere Month

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of written examination and personal interview depending on the number of applications received.

Age Relaxation

The upper age of the candidates in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-

By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST communities.
By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC communities.
By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.

Application fee

Candidates are required to obtain application form from office of all district superintendent of police and commandants of MLP Battalions and principal, PTS Mawroh, Shillong on payment of Rs 50/-.
