Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA) announced dates for the entrance exam s to its 2 year fully residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Communication) program for the academic session 2014-2015.

Interested candidates should send their applications / apply online till the prescribed last dates.

About the program:
PGDM(C) program focuses on Communications Management and Marketing & Integrated Marketing Communications. The course would help candidates develop a holistic understanding of the Management and the growing importance of effective communication in business.

Eligibility: Bachelor's degree (in keeping with the 10 + 2 + 3 system)   in any discipline or equivalent qualification + Score of CAT 2013 / XAT 2013 / XAT 2014 / MAT 2013 (Feb / May / Sept / Dec) / CMAT 2013 (Sept) / ATMA 2013 (Feb / May / July) GMAT (2010 onwards).

Candidates appearing for their final year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) examinations are eligible to apply.

For Foreign Nationals / Non Resident Indians (NRIs):

Selection Procedure: Selection for the PGDM (C) course would be done through a two - staged processes involving:

Stage-I: MICA Admissions Test (MICAT): All eligible candidates with valid CAT 2013 / XAT 2013 / XAT 2014 / MAT 2013 (Feb / May / Sept / Dec) / CMAT 2013 (Sept) / ATMA 2013 (Feb / May / July) GMAT (2010 onwards) scores will be called for MICAT

About MICAT: MICAT examination is aimed to assess candidate’s analytical ability, verbal ability, logical reasoning, divergent thinking, written communication skills and general awareness about the communications industry. It will be held in February / March 2014 at various centers in the 12 cities, namely, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jaipur, Jammu, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

Stage-II: Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI): On basis of their performance in MICAT 2014 exam,  candidates will be asked to appear for Group Exercise and Personal Interview to be conducted at the MICA campus, Ahmedabad

For Foreign Nationals / Non Resident Indians (NRIs):

Interested eligible Foreign Nationals/ NRIs should apply to MICA for admission to PGDM(C) using their GMAT scores (2010 onwards). Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a Personal Interview Process via teleconference in April 2014.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should apply online through MICA website till 31 January 2014.

For Foreign Nationals / Non Resident Indians (NRIs): Interested and eligible candidates should send their duly filled in Application Forms along with application fees of Rs. 1785 to “The Admissions Office, Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, Shela, Ahmedabad – 380 058, Gujarat, India” so as to reach the concerned office before 24 March 2014.
