Applications are invited from qualified and competent candidates for recruitment 2012,for various Scientific Positions for the following areas:

• Genetic Epidemiology
• Bioinformatics
• Transgenic Technology
• Infectious Diseases 

Note

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their academic qualification, work experience and personal interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening by the selection committee, will be called for the interview. Eligibility Conditions 

For Scientist H

• PhD Degree in the relevant area from a recognized University
• Should have good track record in research, academic accomplishment in terms of publications & patents, and attracting generous research funding
• Should have evidence of leadership with minimum 15 years of R&D experience in the relevant areas
• Should hold a position of Scientist F / G or Professor in Government / Statutory / Autonomous Institutions / Universities
• Candidates should be below the age of 55 years.

For Scientist G

• PhD Degree in the relevant area from a recognized University
• Should have good track record in research, academic accomplishment in terms of publications & patents
• Minimum 10 years of R&D experience in the relevant areas
• Candidates should be below the age of 50 years.

For Scientist F

• M Sc / BV Sc / MBBS / B Tech / BE Degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute with evidence of publishing the original work as patents / publications and minimum 12 years of R&D experience in the relevant areas Or
• PhD / MV Sc / M Tech Degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant area from a recognized University with evidence of publishing the original work as patents / publications and minimum 7 years of R&D experience in the relevant areas 

For Scientist E

• M Sc / BV Sc / MBBS / B Tech / BE Degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute with evidence of publishing the original work as patents / publications and minimum 10 years of R&D experience in the relevant areas Or
• PhD / MV Sc / M Tech Degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant area from a recognized University with evidence of publishing the original work as patents / publications and minimum 5 years of R&D experience in the relevant areas
• Candidates should be below the age of 45 years.

For Scientist D

• M Sc / BV Sc / MBBS / B Tech / BE Degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute with evidence of publishing the original work as patents / publications and minimum 7 years of R&D experience in the relevant areas Or
• PhD / MV Sc / M Tech Degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant area from a recognized University with evidence of publishing the original work as patents / publications and minimum 2 years of R&D experience in the relevant areas
• Candidates should be below the age of 40 years.

For Scientist C

• M Sc / BV Sc / MBBS / B Tech / BE Degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute with evidence of publishing the original work as patents / publications and minimum 5 years of R&D experience in the relevant areas Or
• PhD / MV Sc / M Tech Degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant area from a recognized University with evidence of publishing the original work as patents / publications
• Candidates should be below the age of 35 years.

For Scientist B

• M Sc / BV Sc / MBBS / B Tech / B Pharma Degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University / Institute Or
• Candidates should be below the age of 30 years. 

Application Fee: Rs 100/- (Exempted for SC / ST / PH / Women candidates)

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can apply through Online Submission System by visiting the official link of NIAB: http://www.niab.org.in/NotificationsScientificPositions.aspx
• Candidates can also download the application format from the official link of NIAB: http://www.niab.org.in/NotificationsScientificPositions.aspx
• For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs 100/-, drawn in favor of National Institute of Animal Biotechnology, payable at Hyderabad University Campus branch, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
• Application form, duly complete in all respect, along with the DD and attested copies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to Officer-on-Special Duty (OSD), National Institute of Animal Biotechnology, Visiting Scholars House, Lake View Guest House, University of Hyderabad Campus, Prof. C R Rao Road, Gachibowli, Hyderabad (AP) - 500046, by post on or before  23^rd April, 2012.
• Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of ________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
• Candidates applying for various posts should apply with separate application form and DD for each post.
