Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programs for 2013.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Agriculture & Environment Sciences (AES)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Basic & Applied Sciences (BAS)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Engineering (ENG)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Food Business Management & Entrepreneurship (FBM)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Food Science & Technology (FST) 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates holding M.Tech or master degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% marks. Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates.
  
  
• Candidates appearing for final year examinations of minimum educational qualification prescribed also in 2013 may also apply.

• Candidates must apply online by visiting their official website.
  
  
• All applicants are advised to go through the admission brochure before filling the form. The brochure are made available online. Candidates are required to take printout of application copletion of online application filling process.

Selection Procedure

• A Research Entrance Test (RET) shall be conducted by NIFTEM at its campus in Kundli.
• An interview will be conducted at NIFTEM campus for the candidates, who qualify research entrance test on 30^th Jun, 2013. 

Important Dates

• Last date of receipt of online and print application forms: 15^th May, 2013 (Wednesday) and 26^th May, 2013 (Sunday)
• Date of RET-2013 entrance exam: 30^th Jun, 2013 (Sunday)
