Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the posts of Technical Assistant (Research). 

Note

• The recruitment is to be done on temporary basis for Non-Institutional ad-hoc projects.
• The appointment is to be done for Enteric Viruses Department project “Investigation of Viral Etiology of Encephalitis Reported from Gorakhpur, North India”. 
• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of walk-in-interview. The interview is scheduled to be held on March 6^th March, 2012. The interview will be held at National Institute of Virology, 20-A, Dr Ambedkar Road, Post Box No. 11, Pune (Maharashtra) - 411001, from 09.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs.

Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences(Microbiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Chemistry) from a recognized University / Institute with minimum two years of working experience in the relevant field Or
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences(Microbiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Chemistry) from a recognized University / Institute withtwo years of Diploma in the relevant discipline fromrecognized University /Institute
• M Sc Degree in Life Sciences (Microbiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Chemistry) or M Tech Degree in Biotechnology / Microbiology from a recognized University / Institute is desirable
• Candidates having Laboratory experience in Molecular Biology / Tissue Culture Techniques / Bioinformatics will be preferred
• Good working knowledge of Computer Applications
• Candidates should be below the age of 30 years (Age relaxation for SC/ ST / OBC / PH candidates as per government norms).

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can appear for the Walk-in-Interview.
• The interview is scheduled to be held on   6^th March, 2012, at National Institute of Virology, 20-A, Dr Ambedkar Road, Post Box No. 11, Pune (Maharashtra) - 411001, from 09.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs.
• Candidates appearing for the interview should bring one passport-size photograph and Original & 1 set of attested copies of all relevant certificates / documents.
