The North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU)-Shillong has invited applications for admission to two-year Master of Technology (M.Tech) programme in Nanotechnology.
Eligibility Criteria:
Aspiring candidates need to have a degree in the Bachelor of Technology/ Bachelor of Engineering in Nanotechnology/ Biochemical/ Biomedical/ Biotechnology/ Chemical/ Electronics/ Energy/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Metallurgical with 60 per cent or 6.5 credit in 10 point scale.
Also, the candidate need to have a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Nano Science/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Material Science/ Electronics/ Biotechnology and allied courses with 60 per cent or 6.5 credit in 10 point scale.
Applicants belonging to reserved category will be given relaxation in the percentage obtained.
Selection Procedure for NEHU, Shillong:
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score and/or entrance examination conducted by concerned department.
Application Fee:
The applicant needs to pay Rs. 600 while the candidates from the SC/ST category can pay Rs 300.
