Power Grid Corporation of India Limited i.e PGCIL has invited application for the post of executive trainees in the disciplines of electrical, electronics, civil and computer science through GATE 2018.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational qualification
Full time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc(Engg.) from recognized university/institute in the related trade witn 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Age limit:
The age of the candidates applying for the post should not exceed 28 years. Relaxation in age will be provided as per the government norms.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2018, group discussion and personal interview.

- Electrical Engineering (EE)
- Electronics and Communication (EC)
- Civil Engineering (CE)
- Computer Science and Information Technology (CS)
Pay Scale
- CTC during training: 8.6 lakhs
- CTC after training: 15.0 lakh

PGCIL will release a separate notification with details regarding number of vacancies, reservation, important instructions regarding submission of online application, date of interview etc. on their official website, www.powergridindia.com, from January 4, 2018.
