Applications are invited from eligible candidates for for recruitment 2012, for the post of Young Professional, in the Power & Energy Division. 

Note

• Appointment of the candidates is to be done on temporary basis for a period of one year, which can be extended further till a period of five years as per candidate performance or requirement of planning commission. 

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in academics, work experience, and personal interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview. Eligibility Conditions

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or MBA Degree / MA Degree in Economics (with work experience in power sector) from a recognized University or its equivalent
  
  
• Candidates, who have work experience in research / design / development or in planning / execution of research & development programmes or projects in the field of Power & Energy, will be preferred.
  
  
• Should have good knowledge of various Power Sector Policies and Electricity Acts
  
  
• Good command over Computer Application (Word Processing, Excel, Power Point Presentation, etc.)
  
  
• Master’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Ph.D Degree in Management / Economics (with working experience in power sector) from a recognized University is desirable.
  
  
• Work Experience in Conducting / Organizing / Planning Research in Multi-disciplinary areas or in frontier areas / newly emerging areas in Power & Energy Sector will be preferred.
  
  
• Candidates should be below the age of 65 years.
