Eligibility Conditions

For Professor

Should have Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II ofThird Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part-IIof the Third Schedule of the said Act, shall also fulfill the conditions specified in Sub-section (3) of the Section13 of the Act. aforesaid)
MD / MS / MDS / PhD or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
Minimum 14 years of teaching / research experience in a recognized Medical College / Institute, with 3 years of working experience as Associate Professor in concerned subjects, in a reputed Medical College / Institute
Should have published minimum four research publications as Index / National Journals, out of which 2 research publications should be published at the tenure of the Associate Professor.

For Associate Professor

Should have Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II ofThird Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part-IIof the Third Schedule of the said Act, shall also fulfill the conditions specified in Sub-section (3) of the Section13 of the Act. aforesaid)
MD / MS / MDS / PhD or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
Minimum 6 years of post MD / MS teaching / research experience in a recognized Medical College / Institute, with 4 years of working experience as Assistant Professor in concerned subjects, in a reputed Medical College / Institute
Should have published minimum 2 research publications as Index / National Journals, at the tenure of the Associate Professor

For Assistant Professor/ Lecturer

Should have Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II ofThird Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part-IIof the Third Schedule of the said Act, shall also fulfill the conditions specified in Sub-section (3) of the Section13 of the Act. aforesaid)
MD / MS / MDS / PhD or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
Minimum 3 years of post qualification teaching / research experience in a recognized Medical College / Institute
