Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalayam is a public university of higher education and learning for women and is located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The university was founded in 1983 and was named after the Sri Padmavati, the hindu goddess. The campus of the university occupies the land of 138 acres and is surrounded by the Tirumala Hills. The admission procedure for engineering and technology programs is through statewide entrance test of EAMCET/ECET, for business administration programs the admission process is through state level common entrance test (ICET) and for applied mathematics programs the admission criteria is based on B.A/B.Sc. degree with mathematics. The PMV university is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation council with 4 stars.
